01. About me

Everett Quebral: Architect of the Future Web (and the Stars Above) About Me

šŸ‘‹ Hi, I’m Everett Quebral — a hands-on software architect, security leader, and forward-thinking builder of composable, scalable systems. With 25+ years in software engineering, I specialize in transforming monolithic architectures into modular, reactive platforms—driven by principles of hexagonal, composable, and reactive architecture.

As the Chief Technical Security Officer at Xecure.ai, I lead the design of secure platforms that scale across cloud-native environments, AI-integrated pipelines, and highly composable frontends. I'm the mind behind the Composable Execution Layer (CEL)—a new architectural layer built to "build once, deploy everywhere." It's not just a concept; it's a framework for modern application delivery that I’m documenting in my upcoming book, Composable Frontend Architecture.

I work at the intersection of:

Security-first software engineering Componentization at scale AI-ready architectures Composable systems built for longevity When I’m not diagramming a distributed execution layer or modernizing legacy apps, you’ll find me behind a telescope. As an avid astrophotographer, I capture deep-sky objects like the Rosette, Jellyfish, and Tadpole Nebulae—reminders that all great design is about structure, clarity, and wonder.

šŸ”§ Architect. šŸ” Security strategist. šŸ“š Author. šŸ“ø Explorer of the cosmos.

Let’s reinvent how we build—both systems and stories.

02. Interests and Hobbies

I love taking pictures, landscape, people and places. I have also invested a good amount of my time in taking pictures of the heavenly bodies, planets, galaxies and nebulaes.

03. Framework Preferences

Most of what I'm building right now are based on NodeJS, Javascript, Typescript and GraphQL. Starting to really take advantage of NextJS as a web application framework because of it's capabilities to render server side and client side.
